Delon Hsueh (薛育昇)

Delon Hsueh is a research assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedics & Traumatology, the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). He received his PhD in biomaterials from the Department of Biomedical Engineering, College of Medicine and Engineering, National Taiwan University (NTU) in 2014. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan. He was a visiting scholar at the Institute for Frontier Medical Sciences, Kyoto University, Japan (2012) and Department of Plastic Surgery, Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic (2013), where he was engaged in medical research in the field of tissue engineering (evaluation of human neural progenitor cells derived from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS cells) by utilizing extracellular matrix protein-screening microarrays) as well as in pre-clinical and clinical investigations (soft-tissue reconstruction), respectively.
