Baoyao Yang (杨宝瑶)

Baoyao Yang is a distinguished young faculty member recruited under the "Youth Hundred Talents Program" at Guangdong University of Technology. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from South China University of Technology in 2014 and her PhD from Hong Kong Baptist University in 2018. Baoyao has spearheaded several key research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation General Program, the Youth Science Fund, and multiple provincial and ministerial-level scientific research initiatives. Her contributions were recognized with the 2023 Guangdong Province Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Prize). She has authored over 40 publications in top-tier journals such as IEEE TIP, TIFS, and TNNLS, as well as leading conferences like AAAI and ACMMM. Additionally, Baoyao holds six authorized national invention patents and emphasizes the integration of industry, academia, and research in her work.
