Key topics

The research in Cellular Structural Biology is drawing tremendous attentions due to its important role in general biological studies. Advanced imaging techniques have become indispensable tools for the analysis of the structure and function of cellular components. In particular, electron tomography allows the visualization of organelle structures in three dimensions. This workshop aims to promote the local development of research and teaching in both the Cell Biology and Structural Biology disciplines. It provides up-to-date training for professors, scientists and post-doctors in modern Cell Biology and cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) technologies.
