Hong Li

Hong Li is currently a full professor at the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests include high-energy density lithium-ion batteries, solid lithium batteries, and failure analysis. He has published over 280 papers in peer-reviewed journals with over 16,000 citations. He has filed over 100 patents, more than half of which have been granted. He is the regional editor of the journals Solid State Ionics and Ionics. He was identified as a distinguished young scientist by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and was named a leading scientist in the the "Ten Thousand Talents Plan" (National High-level Talents Special Support Plan).
He serves as a scientific committee member of both the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in China. He is a leading member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Strategic Priority Research Programme and the Ministry of Science and Technology’s key projects on high energy density lithium batteries for EV.
