Zhijun Cai (蔡智君)

Zhijun Cai is a PhD candidate in Department of Physics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, under the supervision of Prof. Quan Li. Previously, Zhijun received Bachelor degree in Materials Science & Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology with the highest honor President Yuan Runzhang Scholarship and the Dean’s list (Advisor: Prof. Liqiang Mai and Prof. Qinyou An). Zhijun has received over 20 scholarships and awards, including China Telecom Scholarship, Hong Kong Government Development Scholarship, Teaching Assistant Award and Outstanding Undergraduate Thesis. His research interest focuses on understanding the morphology and chemical evolution of the Zn anode interface and promoting the cycle life and calendar life of Zn battery through material design. He is the author of more than 10 journal publications, including Nature Catalyst, Angew. Chem., Advanced Functional Materials and ACS Energy Letters.
