Yongqi Zhang (张永起)

Yongqi Zhang has been a professor at the Institute of Fundamental and Frontier Sciences, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), since 2019. He received his master's degree in materials science and engineering from Zhejiang University in 2013 and his PhD in applied physics from Nanyang Technological University in 2018. Yongqi's research focuses on the fabrication of nanostructured materials using radio-frequency (RF) plasma techniques for energy conversion and electrochemical storage applications, such as rechargeable batteries, water splitting, and supercapacitors. To date, he has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers in leading journals, including Advanced Materials and Advanced Energy Materials.
