Xuejie Huang (黄学杰)

Dr. Xuejie Huang, a professor at the Institute Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and deputy director of Songshan Lake materials Lab.(Guangdong). He got his doctor degree from Delft University of technology in 1993 and worked as a post doctor co-worker in Christian-Albrecht University in Kiel in 1994-1995. Since 1996, he chairs the group of Solid State Ionics at IOP/CAS and works on secondary lithium batteries and related materials. He has published above 300 peer-reviewed journal papers, and more than 80 patents granted. He has developed technologies for materials, batteries and machines for Li-ion battery industry in China. He found Phylion Battery Co. Ltd in 1998. Phylion is the leading producers of Li-ion batteries for light electric vehicles in the world. He is concurrently the responsibility specialist of national "electric car" major projects, Ministry of Science and Technology of China, and chief editor of “Science and technology for energy storage”(Scopus).
