Yi Chun Lu

Yi Chun Lu received her PhD from MIT in 2012 and is the Associate Editor of the Journal of Materials Chemistry A. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a Founding Member of the Young Academy of Science of Hong Kong, Lu was awarded the Xplorer Prize 2021, the IBA Early Career Award 2021, and the Falling Walls Foundation Breakthrough of the Year 2020.
Her research focuses on solution chemistry and membrane designs for redox-flow batteries, as well as the mechanistic understanding of interfacial phenomena governing electrochemical energy conversion and storage processes.
