I hold a bachelor’s degree in biology from Sichuan Agricultural University and a master’s degree in cell molecular biology and biochemistry from Nanjing Agricultural University. In 2023, I obtained my doctorate degree in cell and molecular biology under the guidance of Professor Kang Byung-ho from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Subsequently, I joined Professor Zhuang Xiaohong’s laboratory as a postdoctoral researcher in 2024. My research encompasses the utilization of confocal microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, correlative light and electron microscopy (CLEM), and electron tomography to investigate organelle homeostasis, vesicle trafficking, and autophagy in plants during various developmental stages and environmental stresses. My primary research focus is to elucidate the autophagy machinery in plants as a response to environmental stresses and to explore the potential of autophagy in developing plants.
