Zhiqi Liu is a recent PhD graduate in Cell and Molecular Biology from Chinese University of Hong Kong, having previously earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Northeast Forestry University in mainland China. With a background in plant biotechnology and developmental biology, her prior research examined rice grain size and plant reproductive biology, while her current work focuses on pollen and pollen tubes in flowering plants. Keenly interested in cellular imaging, Zhiqi is drawn to innovative methodologies that provide direct visual access to the inner workings of plant cells.
