Zhiqi Liu (刘智琦)
Chinese University of Hong Kong
A new PhD graduate from The Chinese University of Hong Kong majored Cell and Molecular Biology. I am with plant biotechnology and plant developmental biology background and had my Bachelor and Master degrees in Northeast Forestry University in mainland China. Specifically, I had been studying rice grain size and plant reproduction biology. Currently I am working with pollen and pollen tubes of flowering plants. I'm also interested in cellular imaging methods, especially their applications to plant cells. The reason I am interested in plant cell imaging is that I am obsessed by methodologies that grant us more direct accesses to the real world of plant cells.
