Yutong Song (宋禹桐)
Chinese University of Hong Kong
I graduated from the University of California, Davis in the US and obtained my PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering in the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2024. The main focus of my research was on using Optogenetic technology to study cellular and organelle biology. To observe intracellular organelles and acquire essential data for analysis, I have extensively used widefield and confoncal fluorescence microscope. After years of experiments, it was not difficult to come to the conclusion that the higher resolution of the microscopy is, the more information you can get from the samples. It is of my great interest to learn more about and get my hands on advanced microscope system.
