The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
I completed my Ph.D. in July 2024 at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in the Division of Life Science, where I was awarded with HKPFS. Currently, I am a postdoctoral fellow in the same division. My research focused on intracellular protein trafficking processes involved in signal transduction and the development of novel cancer treatments. Additionally, I am working on new imaging techniques to visualize the vesicular trafficking in vivo. My current research interests include studying the nucleotide-bound transitions of small GTPases and their roles in cargo selection at the trans-Golgi network. I am also designing small molecule inhibitors to disrupt interactions between signaling molecules and their receptors. Furthermore, I am eager to learn about innovative synthetic biology strategies to manipulate intracellular protein trafficking for therapeutic applications, as well as designing effective vehicles for targeted drug delivery.
