Peiyuan Huang
Chinese University of Hong Kong
Peiyuan Huang is a postdoctoral researcher working under Professor Liting Duan in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) to develop cutting-edge optogenetic tools for studying cellular signal transduction. His research focuses on TrkB receptor signalling - a pivotal pathway in neuronal survival, differentiation, and plasticity - where he has successfully applied light-inducible signalling to promote neuronal regeneration. Additionally, they investigate cellular organelles and their roles in physiological and pathological processes across normal and cancer cells.
