My name is Dr. Lu Zhang, and I received my Ph.D. in Botany in 2019 from Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, in collaboration with the University of California, Riverside. I previously worked as an Associate Professor at Hainan Normal University for four years. Currently, I am a Research Associate in Professor Liwen Jiang's lab, at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). My research focuses on plant cell biology, particularly the mechanisms of organelle biogenesis and their responses to environmental stress. I am passionate about understanding how plants develop and adapt to challenging conditions, and exploring innovative approaches to enhance their resilience.
