Laura Fang
Chinese University of Hong Kong
I obtained my Doctorate Degree in Chemistry from Hong Kong Baptist University. My research mainly focuses on mass spectrometry based method development, including gas chromatography mass spectrometry and liquid chromatography mass spectrometry, and its application in clinical trials. I participated in a clinical trial which established a hospital based birth cohort, exploring the associations between prenatal exposure and birth outcomes as well as fetal and childhood growth using exposomics, metabolomics and epidemiological statistics. I am currently working as a technician in School of Life Sciences at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, responsible for lab course teaching for undergraduates and equipment maintenance.
