Jacky Ngo (敖志祺)

Prof. Ngo obtained his Ph.D. degree in Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at University of California San Diego. He worked as Postdoctoral Fellow in the same University and Division of Hemostasis and Thrombosis at BIDMC-Harvard Medical School respectively after graduation. In 2009-2012, he joined the Chinese University of Hong Kong as a Research Assistant Professor. In 2012-2019, he was an Assistant Professor and from 2019 to present, he is an Associate Professor. His research interest is structure-function studies of macromolecules; structure-based drug development to combat cancers and neurodegenerative diseases; interaction and phosphorylation of substrates by their kinases; and development of environmental friendly pesticidal peptides for sustainable agriculture.
