Jacky Ngo (敖志祺)

Jacky Ngo obtained his PhD from the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at University of California, San Diego, where he subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship. He also undertook postdoctoral research in the Division of Haemostasis and Thrombosis at BIDMC - Harvard Medical School. Joining Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2009 as a Research Assistant Professor, he was appointed Assistant Professor in 2012 and has served as an Associate Professor since 2019. His research interests include structure - function studies of macromolecules, structure - based drug development for cancers and neurodegenerative diseases, substrate-kinase interactions and phosphorylation, and the development of environmentally friendly pesticidal peptides for sustainable agriculture.
