Haoqiu Liu (劉浩秋)
Chinese University of Hong Kong
I am a passionate learner in bioimaging and biochemistry. I obtained my Ph.D. degree from the National University of Singapore in Molecular and Cellular Biology. Currently I am working in Prof. Zhuang Xiaohong's lab in CUHK as a postdoctoral fellow, focusing on the dynamics of plant autophagy-related complexes using the latest super resolution technology and biochemical methods. I am also curious in all kinds of technology that could potentially characterize the topology of large protein complexes, especially membrane-associated complexes in the autophagic phagophore initiation and expansion process in Arabidopsis, thus further addressing the mystery of its origin and interaction with cellular structures and organelles.
