Haoqiu Liu (劉浩秋)
Chinese University of Hong Kong
Haoqiu Liu is a researcher with a strong background in bioimaging and biochemistry, having obtained his PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from National University of Singapore. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow in Professor Xiaohong Zhuang's lab at Chinese University of Hong Kong, his research focuses on the dynamics of plant autophagy-related complexes using cutting-edge super-resolution technology and biochemical methods. Haoqiu is keen to explore technologies capable of characterising the topology of large protein complexes -particularly membrane - associated complexes involved in autophagic phagophore initiation and expansion in Arabidopsis - to elucidate their origins and interactions with cellular structures and organelles.
