Faye Tsang (曾淑瑩)

Professor Faye Suk-Ying Tsang obtained her Ph.D. degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She obtained the postdoctoral training at the Johns Hopkins University and the University of California, Davis. She is now a Full Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is the investigator in the State Key Laboratory of Agrobiotechnology, the Ministry of Education Key Laboratories for Regenerative Medicine and the Institute for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine (ITERM) of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Her major research mainly focuses on the functions and maturation of pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes.
Her research interest is i) the maturation of pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes; ii) ion channels and cardiovascular physiology; and iii) the biology of stem cells. She serves as the editorial board member for several journals in the above research area. She has published more than 80 full-length research publications in SCI-indexed journals.
