Fangfang Niu (牛芳芳)
Chinese University of Hong Kong
I am working as a postdoc in professor Liwen Jiang's lab in The Chinese University of Hong Kong. My research is mainly focused on dissecting the molecular mechanisms of transcription factors in regulating plant growth and development as well as stress tolerance in model plant Arabidopsis. Vacuoles are one of the most important organelles in plant cells due to their large size and multifunctionat contribution to cell survival Studies on vacuolar trafficking and vacuole formation made significant contributions toward the understanding of vacuole biogenesis in plants. We aim to identify the key regulators that regulate the vacuole formation and illustrate the underlying mechanisms in Arabidopsis using multiple pproaches.
