Fangfang Niu (牛芳芳)
Chinese University of Hong Kong
Fangfang Niu works as a postdoctoral researcher in Professor Liwen Jiang’s laboratory at Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses primarily on dissecting the molecular mechanisms by which transcription factors regulate plant growth, development, and stress tolerance in the model plant Arabidopsis. Given the vital, multifunctional role of vacuoles in cell survival, understanding vacuolar trafficking and formation is central to plant biology. Building on established insights into vacuole biogenesis, her work aims to identify key regulators of vacuole formation and elucidate the underlying mechanisms in Arabidopsis using a multi-pronged approach.
