My Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell biology came from the Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing, China. My PhD research primarily focused on the conservation and functional diversity of galanin and its receptors among vertebrates and the potential therapeutic applications of galanin in reducing the severity of colitis
in a mouse. My research interests revolve around G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) within the peptide hormone family. These receptors play a crucial role in sensing extracellular molecules and initiating intracellular signaling pathways, impacting mammalian growth and development. I am proficient in a variety of laboratory techniques, including peptide synthesis, cell culture, transfection,
histological analysis, and pharmacological testing. My ability to integrate these skills has allowed me to conduct comprehensive and impactful research.
