Alex Koon (管進)
Chinese University of Hong Kong
I obtained his PhD in Biomedical Sciences (conc. in neuroscience) from the University of Massachusetts Medical School (U.S.) and completed my postdoctoral training at the University of Queensland (Australia). My research interests include neurodegenerative and neuromuscular disorders, Drosophila neurobiology, synaptic plasticity, and science education. I am currently serving as the Assistant Director of the Cell and Molecular Biology Programme at the School of Life Sciences, CUHK. I am also serving as an honorary advisor for the Hong Kong Student Association of Neuroscience, and a member of the Society for Neuroscience (U.S.). I have also taken up numerous editorial roles in journals such as Discover Education (Nature Springer), dedicating myself to advancing in both the science and education fields.
