Dr Steven Xu is a seasoned leader in clinical pharmacology and drug development, with over 20 years of experience spanning oncology, immunology, cardiovascular/metabolism, neurology, and infectious diseases. He currently serves as the Clinical Pharmacology/Pharmacometrics Therapeutic Head for Hematologic Malignancies at Genmab Inc., where he oversees global clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics efforts in hematologic indications. Previously, Xu held several leadership roles at Janssen Research & Development, where he directed clinical pharmacology, pharmacometrics, and translational research efforts across multiple therapeutic areas. His contributions include leading clinical pharmacology strategies for over 30 global regulatory filings, including BLAs/NDAs and pediatric submissions, and fostering strong collaborations with regulatory agencies such as the FDA and EMA. Xu is a prolific scholar with more than 100 publications in top-tier journals like Nature Communications, The Lancet Hematology, and Clinical Cancer Research. He is also an active mentor, having supervised and managed numerous scientists and postdoctoral fellows.
