Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics

This Croucher Advanced Study Institute on pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics aims to enhance participants' proficiency in complex modelling techniques by exploring cutting-edge methodologies and tools specific to clinical data. Participants will develop the ability to construct sophisticated models, analyse intricate clinical datasets, and apply advanced algorithms to solve real-world healthcare and drug development challenges. By the end of the workshop, attendees will be equipped with the skills necessary to optimise dosing regimens within clinical settings, improving decision-making and patient outcomes.

  • 30 May – 1 June 2026

  • Chinese University of Hong Kong

Key topics

  • Overview of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics principles
  • Advanced modelling approaches and methodologies
  • Modelling of cell maturation and transduction delays
  • Nonlinear mixed-effect lifespan models
  • Neural ODE implementation in population analysis software

Poster session

Participation in the poster session is voluntary. Preference will be given to posters related to the research areas of clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics.

The conference organisers will print and display posters on behalf of presenters. Presenters are therefore required to submit an electronic version of their poster for printing by 15 May.

Posters should be prepared in portrait orientation and should measure 36 inches (91.5 cm) in width by 48 inches (122 cm) in height for optimal viewing.

Who the Institute is for

Early career researchers in fields relevant to the topic.
