Xiaoqing Fan

Xiaoqing Fan was trained in pharmacology at the Peking Union Medical College and earned a PhD from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2023, focusing on pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics modelling. Currently, he is a Research Associate at the School of Pharmacy, Chinese University of Hong Kong. His current research focuses on machine learning, data mining, and population pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics modelling, with the goal of identifying novel targets for cancer treatment. He has published 12 journal articles, including six as the first author, and has received several awards, such as the Gates and Bill Melinda Foundation travel grant and the CUHK Reaching Out Award. Additionally, he has participated in a GRF project on anemia management, where he developed expertise in laboratory techniques, statistical analysis, and mathematical modelling. As a key contributor to this project, he also played a significant role in successfully filing a US patent related to the research findings.
