Dominic Bräm
Postdoctoral Researcher, Department of Clinical Research, University Children’s Hospital Basel

Dr Dominic Bräm is a pharmacometrician and data scientist with a background in pharmaceutical sciences and quantitative modelling. His research focuses on combining pharmacometric principles with modern machine learning to accelerate model development and improve drug dosing. He integrates mechanistic modelling with approaches such as neural ordinary differential equations (Neural ODEs), reinforcement learning, and AI-based automation to derive interpretable pharmacometric models and estimate optimal dosing strategies. Trained at ETH Zurich, Bräm brings together pharmacological insight and computational innovation. He also provides consulting and workshops on pharmacometrics, machine learning, and R, and has contributed to the field through original research, patents, and software development.
