Josh Xie is the Head of Exploratory Medicine and Pharmacology at Lilly China, where he leads the early clinical development strategy and execution across a diverse portfolio of therapeutic areas. He holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a master's degree in Statistics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the US FDA. A dedicated practitioner of Model-Informed Drug Development (MIDD), Josh continually advances his quantitative and pharmacometric expertise to accelerate innovative drug development.
