Xu Peng is an attending pharmacist specialising in pharmacology and PKPD study, with a PhD from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (2023). His doctoral research on optimising anemia treatment in renal disease was published in the British Journal of Pharmacology. Currently based at Taihe Hospital's Phase I Clinical Trial Center and a new Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Anesthesia and Pain Research, his work focuses on biomarker translation (ERFE in CKD) and stem cell pharmacodynamics, supported by provincial and institutional grants. He has managed over 30 clinical studies, contributing to contracts exceeding RMB 10 million, and has authored more than 20 publications.
