Ka Wing Cheng is currently a final year PhD student. Previously, she obtained a Bachelor of Science from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her major in college is pharmacy of Chinese medicine. During her PhD, she is studying the active components and metabolism of an herbal formula for treating Ulcerative Colitis. Currently she is working on the research regarding herb-drug interaction, aiming to support the development in this field in order to help both TCM practitioners and patients achieve better clinical outcomes.
