Haoran Wang (王浩然)

Haoran Wang is currently a Research Assistant at the School of Public Health, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), where he focuses on integrating AI and big data approaches with biomedical research. He recently earned his master’s degree in Statistics from the University of Southampton, following a bachelor’s degree from Hong Kong Baptist University. His research centers on applying advanced computational and statistical methods to bridge traditional knowledge with modern data science. He has experience and research outcomes in high-throughput analysis of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and in using machine learning for disease diagnosis. Wang is particularly interested in the integration of AI and biomedicine, with a strong commitment to developing data-driven models for biomedical discovery and clinical understanding. He is currently seeking PhD research opportunities in these areas.
