Yin Ting Cheung
Associate Professor, School of Pharmacy, Chinese University of Hong Kong

Professor Yin Ting Cheung trained in pharmacoepidemiology and cancer survivorship at the National University of Singapore and St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, USA. During her PhD, she pioneered research on cognitive and psychosocial impacts in Asian breast cancer patients. At St Jude, she explored pharmacological, biological, and genetic factors affecting brain function and treatment-related complications in paediatric cancer survivors. She previously taught as adjunct assistant professor at Rhodes College, USA. Since joining the Chinese University of Hong Kong’s School of Pharmacy in 2017, Cheung has led studies for organisations such as the National Institute of Health (USA), Childhood Cancer Survivors’ Study, and Hospital Authority, aiming to improve health outcomes for cancer survivors. She served on the Children’s Oncology Group Neuropsychology Panel and MASCC Patient Partnership Committee (2022–2024). Currently, she is Co-Vice Chair of the MASCC Paediatrics Study Group, MASCC’s representative in the iPOG Network, Deputy Chair of the HA Central Institutional Review Board (Paediatrics Panel), and a member of the Pharmacy and Poisons Committee. Her collaborative work with students, clinicians, and scientists seeks to enhance survivorship care and chronic disease management.
