Nuno Faria
Professor, School of Public Health, Imperial College London
Nuno Faria is a professor in Virus Genomic Epidemiology at the School of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London, UK, where he is the co-director of the Pathogen Genomic Epidemiology Unit at the MRC Global Infectious Disease Analysis and co-director of the MSc in Epidemiology. He is currently part of the Technical Advisory Group for the WHO Global Arbovirus Initiative and the Zika R&D BluePrint. His team has received funding from the Wellcome Trust, the Medical Research Council, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. He holds a visiting professorship from the University of São Paulo, and has >150 peer-reviewed publications, including 16 in Science and Nature.
