Wanying Sun (孙婉莹)
University of Hong Kong
I am a third-year PhD student at HKU, currently working in Leo's lab. My primary research focus is on the evolution and transmission patterns of the influenza A virus. Specifically, I am investigating the global transmission dynamics of the influenza A virus among birds in Hong Kong. This project aims to gain a better understanding of how the virus spreads among avian populations in the region. As a PhD student, I am dedicated to advancing our knowledge of virus evolution and epidemiology.
