I graduated and got a part II medical laboratory technologist license in 2019. In 2019, Hong Kong experienced the pandemic of SARS-CoV-2. Gilman Siu employed me to analyse Nanopore sequencing data. Meanwhile, I also learnt some knowledge and skill sets of phylogenetic analysis. After the pandemic, I became Siu's research student and started to research on bacterial outbreak, and my current research project is related to core genome phylogeny.
