Sisi Liu is a a master's degree candidate at University of Science and Technology of China. She graduated from Jilin University with an undergraduate degree in animal science, having participated in a research project on bovine viral diarrhoea virus and acquired a foundational knowledge of virology. Sisi then pursued a master's degree at the University of Science and Technology of China, engaging in structural biology research in the laboratory of Yuyong Tao in the College of Life Sciences. The primary technique utilised was cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM). In addition, Sisi is proficient in using bioinformatics to process epigenetic data, such as ChIP-seq.
