The academic journey of Ning Chow began with a BSc (Hons) in Applied Biology with Biotechnology in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She then pursued her M.Phil degree in the same university in 2018 and obtained her Ph.D. degree in Department of Medicine, University of Hong Kong in 2021. Currently, she joined the Department of Health Technology and Informatics at Hong Kong Polytechnic University as a full-time postdoctoral fellow. She actively contributes to various research projects including the development of molecular diagnostic tests for Mycobacterium tuberculosis, molecular epidemiology surveillance of SARS-CoV-2, as well as surveillance for foodborne antimicrobial resistant (AMR) pathogens.
