Munsif Ali Khan

Munsif Ali Khan is a PhD candidate at University of Hong Kong. He belongs to the Khattak tribe of the Pashtun ethnicity in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, and was raised in the district of Mardan. Munsif completed O- and A-level education at top institutions in Mardan before earning a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from a leading university in Pakistan, graduating first in both programmes and receiving a gold medal for bachelor's studies. Since 2018, he has served in various government roles in Pakistan, working as a senior science instructor in the Education Department (2018–21) teaching biology, and as a medical entomologist in the Health Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (from 2021), focusing on the prevention and control of dengue, malaria, and leishmaniasis infections.
