Dr Jason Wong (Wang Jiachen) is a PhD student from the School of Life Sciences, Fudan University, where he is engaged in plant genomics research and proficient in using various bioinformatics tools. Dr Wang has published papers in journals such as New Phytologist and Cell Reports. His main research directions are plant genomics and evolutionary biology, specialising in using next-generation sequencing technology for functional biology and evolutionary biology research. His primary research subjects include Arabidopsis thaliana, rice, Brachypodium distachyon, and mosses. Jason also engages in research related to human health and has recently been studying virology.
