Daryll Hew (邱馥銘)
Duke-NUS Medical School
Currently a graduate Medicine Master’s student, I am devoted to exploring vaccine-induced T-cell responses' innate predictors, with plans to evolve my thesis into a Ph.D. project. My academic journey is deeply rooted in biostatistics, believing it essential for dissecting complex biological events. My unique approach integrates comics data science, adding a creative perspective to traditional analysis, enriching my capability to navigate through data intricacies. I am also passionate about applied clinical epidemiology, aimed at linking empirical data with tangible health results. This multi-faceted interest portfolio drives my enthusiasm for understanding viral evolution and epidemiology. I see the summer course at the Hong Kong University as a prime opportunity to expand my knowledge and contribute meaningfully to the field, leveraging my diverse yet interconnected skills.
