Hanzhi Chen (陈晗之)
City University of Hong Kong
Hanzhi Chen is an incoming PhD student in Biomedical Sciences at City University of Hong Kong. She is currently completing a Master of Science in Biostatistics and Data Science at Cornell University, where she also works as a research assistant in the Department of Population Health Sciences.
Her research focuses on public health and epidemiology, with interests in machine learning, causal inference, and phylogenetic approaches to infectious disease dynamics. She has also developed simulation frameworks and implemented computational methods for phylogenetic tree analysis to investigate evolutionary patterns and transmission dynamics in infectious diseases.
She is particularly interested in integrating computational and genomic approaches to better understand viral evolution and transmission in public health contexts.
