Dr Mark Jit
Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology

Dr Jit leads works at both the Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine as well as the Modelling and Economics Unit of Public Health England. He helps to cooridinate and teach a variety of vaccine and infectious disease courses both in London and around the world. His main research interest is in epidemiological and economic modelling of infectious disease control interventions to support evidence-based public health decision making. In particular, his work has helped inform immunisation policy on a range of vaccines (including HPV, pneumococcal, rotavirus and influenza vaccines) in both developed and developing countries.
