Thomas Abraham is an adjunct associate professor at the Journalism and Media Studies Centre. His research focuses on risk communication during infectious disease epidemics and the role of media in communicating risk and infectious diseases. He previously worked as a journalist for 25 years and has reported on conflicts and global issues. He has also been a consultant for the World Health Organisation and has written books on SARS and polio.
