Mncengeli Sibanda
Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University
Mncengeli Sibanda is the Scientific Advisor on vaccines for the elderly at the South African Vaccination and Immunisation Centre (SAVIC) at Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU). His main interest is life-course vaccination, particularly vaccination of older adults and healthcare worker vaccination as well as rational antimicrobial use and pharmaceutical systems strengthening. He is also a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Public Health Pharmacy and Management at the SMU and has supervised several Masters and Honours students to completion. Sibanda actively participates in a number of professional groups such as the Pharmaceutical Society of South Africa and is a core member of the School of Pharmacy Research Committee.
