I am a passionate researcher that has just recently joined the public health field since 2023. My research interests are focused on infectious diseases and social issues in health systems, where I believe I am working towards contributing insightful perspectives and innovative approaches through my position as a Research Assistant at NUS. Currently, my work is focused on dengue where we are looking at the acceptability of a dengue vaccine in Singapore. A survey was designed to capture this, with other factors like knowledge, attitude (and determinants) and practices to capture the full sentiment on dengue in Singapore. I believe I can benefit greatly from this workshop as my current and future work are highly relevant to the course description. I am excited to explore this opportunity and connect with likeminded individuals to bounce new ideas off and learn together.
