Ms. Itao is the current distribution section head of the Philippines' National Vaccine Storage Facility. She is a graduate of Masters in Public Management from Philippines' top university, Ateneo de Manila University. She is currently completing her Masters degree in Pharmacology from the University of the Philippines. This academic background allowed her to contribute to the country's National Immunization and Rabies Prevention and Control Programs through supply chain management. She is also working with the Philippine Snakebite Initiative that aims to reduce the burden of snakebite in the country. She has been a member of the Serious Adverse Events Team of the RITM Institutional Review Board and has been a part of the quality assurance team of the WHO Solidarity Vaccine Trial in the Philippines.
