Adam Abdullahi is a Cambridge-Africa Fellow at the University of Cambridge and a Takemi Fellow at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. His interest lies in vaccine responses, particularly within large urban population cohorts across the African continent, to inform public health action. One of his notable accomplishments so far involves contributing supporting evidence from a study, he co-led in Kumasi, Ghana, to changes in WHO guidelines on HIV management (2021), demonstrating the global impact of my work. In 2022, Adam led research that provided the first real-world data on AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine responses in West Africa, contributing significantly to pandemic response efforts through scientific research."
