Adam Abdullahi
University of Cambridge
I am a Cambride-Africa Fellow at the University of Cambridge and a Takemi Fellow at the Harvard School of Public Health. My interest is in vaccine responses, especially in large urban population cohorts across the African continent, to inform public health action. One of my notable accomplishments so far, involves contributing supporting evidence from a study I co-led in Kumasi, Ghana, to WHO guideline change on HIV management (2021), demonstrating the global impact of my work. In 2022, I led research work that provided the first real-world data on COVID-19 AstraZeneca vaccine responses in West Africa and contributed significantly to the pandemic response efforts through scientific research.
