Vaccine hesitancy

This course will provide advanced practical training in the principles of vaccine confidence, including measuring and monitoring vaccine hesitancy, responding to and addressing issues of vaccine confidence and rebuilding trust. The course is mainly designed for public health postgraduate students and professionals worldwide.

Who is the course for

This course is designed for public health postgraduate students, postdoctoral fellows, early‑career scientists, and professionals from around the world.

Scholarship application

A poster session will be held during the course. Participants whose poster abstracts are accepted for presentation will be considered for scholarships. Scholarship awardees will receive HK$4,000 upon successful completion of the course. Scholarship payments will be disbursed through the original payment method used to pay the course fee, any bank charges or surcharges that may occur during the disbursement process will be covered by the awardees.

 

To apply, please submit an abstract (maximum 300 words) together with your application. Scholarship results will be communicated to successful applicants in due course.

 

Course fee

The course fee is HK$4,000, which covers the course materials, 5 nights of shared twin room accommodation, transportation between hotel and course venue, a welcome dinner and a farewell dinner, all breakfasts and lunches and refreshments during the course. Please note that payment is required only upon confirmation of acceptance to the course. At that time, the full course fee of HK$4,000 will be payable, regardless of the scholarship outcome.
