Xiyu Zhang is a student at the School of Public Health, Peking University. His research focuses on adult vaccination behaviour and vaccine hesitancy. He has conducted a meta-analysis on maternal pertussis vaccination, focusing on coverage levels in upper-middle- and high-income countries and generating high-quality evidence. His current work centring on HPV vaccination among men in China, where he has investigated knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP), as well as vaccination and recommendation intentions, across multiple stakeholder groups, including the general male population, male college students, parents of boys, and female partners. His research aims to inform targeted interventions to improve vaccination uptake.
